    on/off lever for beogram 4002

    Does anyone know where I can get an on/off lever for a beogram 4002?

    Is that the CD4-OFF switch at the front right side, or the semi-round T-shaped lever at the back of the BeoGram?

    Probably the one at the back as you pictured.
    It was on export models only for certain territories so unfortunately, I don't
    have a box full of them.
    It powers the Beogram completely off rather than leaving it in standby with no identication.

    This is the first time I see what is obviously missing on my 6000! (and the 4004 as well, or it doesn't have the switch at all, can't remember.) I just turn the axle with my fingers...

    It isn't exactly visible, so you could of course salvage a 4 mm(?) knob from any junked gadget.

    that looks like the beastie, but I think it has a curved profile where it says on/off.

    sorry should have said it's the semi round one at the back, switches the whole deck on or off
