    iPhone 4s and voice control

    So using the 4s, can we now use remote app and voice control our systems via Siri?

    That's indeed a very interesting question.

    BTW was very disappointed that the IOS5 was not available yesterday and will only be on the 12th. :(

    First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Unfortunately the answer is no.

    Siri (voice control) will only do some predefined tasks with built in Apps (address book, calendar, stock, weather) and some online websites (wikipedia...).

    It will also offer dictation where you can type text, in any app.

    Howere there is no special API which developer can use to add voice control specific functions to their apps.

    (by the way voice control doesn't really work to control music and TV as, by definition there is too much background noise).
