BEOGRAM 1202 running slow

i have just won a beogram 1202 off ebay which apparently run slow for a while then picks up...any ideas what this could be before it arrives?

also can the beogram be used with a beomaster 3000?? thank you kindly

Im sorry to say I cant help you with the problem of turntable being to slow but it will work very well with a Beomaster 3000 (the 70s version). Have my own 1202 hooked up with a BM3000
