    BeoLink Eye help needed quickly!

    Hi!

I just bought a BeoVision 4-50 with BeoSystem 2. When I came home I noticed that the IR-receiver unit where missing. I will get it shipped to me in two weeks. So I thought that I could use my BeoLink Eye from my BeoLink Aktive during this time. But there is a different connector on the cable. So what I need to know is the pin configuration for the 8-pin mini din in my BeoSystem and what cables to connect in the other end (BeoLink Eye) There is 5 cables in there (yellow, grey, green, white and brown). I can not find what the do in any documentation.

So if anybody knows anything about the pin configuration of the 8-pin mini din and the BeoLink Eye I would really like to know :-)

    Thanks a lot!

    /Marcus

    If your BeoSystem 2 is a (HD-ready) MK3 version you'll need:

    8089000 IR-sensor with auto contrast
6277910 Wire f/IR-sensor with auto contrast (9 pin mini DIN)

MK1 and MK2 versions of the BSy 2 used:

    8089110 IR-sensor without auto contrast
6270758 Wire for IR-sensor (3,5 mm mini jack)

Maybe a "BeoLink PC2 / BeoPort / Avant US" IR sensor will also work,
if your BSy has an 3,5mm IR INPUT in addition to the STB-IR OUTPUT
