    Beovision avant purchase

    hi all

    i just bought beovosion Avant with DVD and i have a question

    is there any way to check condition of this tv?

    apart from seeing it working obviously:)

    how to check tube condition (if this is possible)

    The problem with these picture tubes is that in a lot of cases they will not let you know that they are breaking down. From one moment to another they can shut down your TV. Sometimes you can simply switch the TV back on again, after which the TV will shut down again, but this can take a while, sometimes even weeks! And you will not see any problem in the picture. To check the tube you can adjust the contrast to maximum and look at some very light pictures. This will make your tube work harder. If the tube is bad, there is a good chance that you'll find out this way!

    i have it now in my place and it`s in exellent condition! sound and picture are awesome!

    32" avant with DVD player and Beo4 for £120 is absolute bargain i think.

    hope i will enjoy it for long time.

    That is really cheap! I payed more for mine, and it was broken! It had a problem with a large and heavy piece of glass!
