Beocord 8000 weak or intermitent channel fades

Hi finally got my belts replaced on my Beocord 8000 (Thanks Dillen) and fixed my fuse problem but now ive got channel fade outs or at least a weak one usually its right channel that ive noticed if i tap on the top of the unit( next to the stand by button on the brushed aluminum side) it will it will agitate it and some times it will come out of it or if i put it in stand by it corrects it self  some times then seems to be fine for while soldier joint crack? if so where do i look? thanks Roger

Check the playback/record relay on the bottom board, right next to
    the tapehead connector.
Tap it lightly with a pencil or similar and see what happens.
    (I have new relays too).

Is it possible or adviseable to open the plastic cover on the relay you are talking about and maybe spay contact cleaner in there? and if not i assume i'd have to un soldier the relay from the board to replace it?

You can open the relay carefully and you can try to clean the contacts.
It will allow you to diagnose an eventual relay fault, it may work for a short time but it
    won't provide a lasting solution.
The contacts will have developed pitting, you can see it in a microscope, and no contact
    cleaner will remove that.
The best thing is to replace the relay. I like to use a sealed airtight type.
Yes, it's soldered to the board.
