    Beogram - RIAA preamplifiers

I have found a source for the RIAA preamplifiers for Bang & Olufsen turntables.

Some of the models are 'prepared' for a RIAA preamplifier. If you need to listen to your wunderful vinyl records and don't own an amplifier with the built in RIAA preamplifier you can now get on.

The RIAA preamplifiers are made as a carbon copy of the original B&O PCB / layout and fits in the B&O turntable. It is very easy to insert the pcb.

I have ordered one for a Beogram 3000 for a customer and all functions very well. The customer is very happy because he doesn’t need an external box and an external power supply for an 3rd party RIAA preamplifier.

The Riaa module can be installed in the following turntables:

    BeoGram 3000, BeoGram 3300, BeoGram 3500*, BeoGram 4500*, BeoGram 5005, BeoGram 5500,

    BeoGram 6500*, BeoGram 7000*, BeoGram 8500, BeoGram 9000, BeoGram 9500, BeoGram TX

(From the web site of the manufacturer)

    Re: Beogram - RIAA preamplifiers

Back in the early 90's I bought a Beosystem 4500 without the turntable, because I had a Beogram 3300.
When I asked the dealer for a RIAA to put in the Beogram, I was told that I couldn't buy one for the Beogram -but instead I could buy a module to mount in the Beomaster. I did that -but later I sold the 4500 system and bought a Beocenter 9500 which had the build-in RIAA.

In recent years I have bought a lot of second-hand B&O including a few turntables.
I have just bought me a 4500 system again (without RIAA ofcourse) and would like to get a RIAA, so I can connect a Beogram to it.

Thank you for the link. Yes - thumbs up
