    Questions, recommendations regarding Beovox M100.2

    Hi:  I am considering the purchase of a pair of M100.2 speakers to go with the BM4400 and BG4004.  They are larger than I need for my listening area, so my first question is will these perform well at lower volumes?  Are there any issues particular to this model that I should be looking for?  I have not yet inspected the pair that I am considering buying.  They seem to be in fine cosmetic condition (except there are no stands), but are there other issues I can check from a listening test or other investigation?  Would I be better off waiting for a good pair of M75s?  Thanks for any help and advice.

    I use a pair of these. They perform very well at low volumes. You do really need the stands - Goodness knows why anyone should remove them! They will probably need the capacitors changing to brighten them up a bit. There are a lot in there! The bass on these is quite superb = very detailed and accurate. The phase link unit can have rot and is a funny size!

    And I thought the M70 had a complicated crossover!  16 capacitors, 24 resistors, and 6 inductors for the M100.2.  And then there's the relay, the transistors, and diodes.....

    Have fun!  [:'(]

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70
