    Bs5 to B9

    Gents,

I've got the bm5/bs5 connected to a bv9 as the dtv.

I can get the bm5 screen but cannot control it.

I've tried it with a 3.5mm cable connected to the control of bv9 and ir of bm5 and with no 3.5 mm cable.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

    Hello mjmedio,

I think that bm/bs is cabled with ML to the BV9 ??

Try to connect the bs/bm as "pc" .....

    it should work ;-)

I have it connected to my ML network.

I cannot get any control over it? Does it respond to PC commands over the network ?

    To further the dialogue.

My bv9 shows the PC as av5 but it is grayed out.

Normally you can control it by N.Radio/N.Music over ML

And it accept PC commands over ML-Networks

Why is PC grey?? Used by another ??

Did you connect it's video via  hdmi ? This will not work ...
you should connect the BM5 via the VGA input and not via the hdmi.
The BS3 detects it is a BV9, so it assumes a BM1 is build in in the system, connected via VGA...
if the ML cable is connected it should work when you select PC
you do not need a IR input on the BM5

    regards

Sounds like your BV9 has a built in beomedia 1. This needs to be removed or disabled before you can control the BS5
