    Sp Cartridge nibs?

    I notice on the 4 pins that push into the tonearm, that there is 4 grey sleeves.  Are these meant to be left on or taken off?  If they are meant to be left on, I am missing one.  What's their purpose?

    They are just insulators I think. Pretty sure I have used an SP cartridge with one missing. can't remeber it causing any issues.
