    Beomaster 5 connections

    Gents,

I'm connecting a BM5/BS5 in a master bedroom. It will be connected via link to several other ML items (BV9 and BS9000) are the main two.

I will operate the BS5 from the bedroom (and ultimately from everywhere in the home with the BEO6). However, I would like to see the album covers on the BV 9. Am I able to connect the BM5 to the BV9 with anything other than the DVI out of the BM5?

I'd like to use components or s video as the cables are much more affordable.

    Thanks

p.s. Any pointers before the bs5 arrives ?

I'm attending to the metadata now.

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

you can use s-video; but Y-Pb-Pr is better; DVI is the best solution

It's got to run about 60 feet. . I was trying to keep my cable costs down

I just wondered if the s vid and component connections were live

    Hi

I have mine connected using a cat6 HDMI extender (50 feet) and SPDIF for sound. It works fine. I dont think that composite is ok you, I use that for link, and it does not look good on my 7-55 (if I use BM5 on my link TV, then the main TV does not use the DVI output of BM5).

    There is something about B&O.....
