BeoLab Pentas 1 connected to BeoSound 3200

I recently aquired a pair of BeoLab penta 1's upgrading my BeoLab 4000's.  These do not have the powerlink connection and the only way I have found to connect them was using the line input on the speakers.  My issue is the speakers tend to click on and off when ever the doors open on the system.  Is there another solution connecting these speakers maybe through an MCL or something?  All of your input is appreciated.

    Thanks

By using this cable does it reduce the speakers from audio sensing and turning on and off. or is this a way to send data to the displays on the pentas?

well yes in a way it does.  I think I have my penta 1's set on "line" when using this cable so there is a delay of a few mins before the amps turn off, but they do power on immediately.   And yes this cable sends data to the displays. Make sure you have the sensitivity set properly to get best performance.   Speak with Matt at B&O Austin Downtown to order the cable or head over to Pyramid Audio on 305 East Braker Lane to order them.   I have had my Penta's serviced by Pyramid and they are quite good.

Hi you can get some cables made up from Steve at soundsheavenly! This is what I had made, they are excellent quality and plug from the powerlink to the penta.  The displays on the mk1's are limited in what they display, so I wouldn't worry so much with that. hope that helps, Cheers Nick
