    Compatibility of Terminal 3000

    Hi all, Does anybody know if the Terminal 3000 is compatible with the Beomaster 5000 (Terminal 5000)? I sourced a couple of 3000 but not a 5000 and wonder if I could control the Beosystem 5000 with this since the Terminal 5000 is quite rare to find this time.

    You can't.
    The Beomaster 5000 uses unique coding that only the Terminal 5000 and MCP5000 will provide.

    Beosound 3000, BL 4000, BL 8000, BG 2404,BG 5000, BG CD50, Beocord 5000, BM 901, BM 2400, BM 4000, BV S45, BV 3702. There is nothing we cannot do, but a lot of things we don't want to do!!

    Thanks Søren, but that one is a Beocenter Terminal for the Beocenter 7007/7700.
    It will NOT work with the Beomaster 5000.
