    Beolab 8000 replace tweeter

    I have a blown tweeter i one off my beolab 8000, anyone changed it by there own ? is it possible to replace fairly easy ?

    replacing the tweeter will only be half of the job - different versions of the tweeter have been used over 
    the last 20 years - recalibrating of the croosover will very likely be necessary

    I have replaced both on a pair of 8000 and on a pair of 6000.
    Both sounds lovely (as far as I can hear) afterwards. (The 8000 got new and the 6000 got a pair of tweeters from a broken MX7000)

    Try do it your self first. If your not satisfied, hand it in to the pro's

    Just out of curiosity, does beolab 8000 and 6000 have the same tweeter ?
