Re: BeoPlayer App now on B&O website

    ATV 1 should be OK.

Airport Extreme does not have a sound jack, so you cannot stream to it.

Of course it is no problem to use it as a wireless router in between the 2.

ATV 1 does not work with Airplay, only the new black ATV and the Airport Express.

No unfortunately it does not work :(

But I still do prefer my ATV1 instead of the new version.

Anyone having any issues w/ the App?

Mine seems to have wonka-fied my phone.

After retreating from the App, I get rogue "BeoTime chime clips" for some duration -eventually stopping! Hmm

Re: BeoPlayer App now on B&O website

After using it for some time, I think the radio-Player really should show the actual playing title.

Compared to what other Apps offer, the pricetag of 12,99 USD 9,99 EUR seems to high.

On the other hand I think zero USD/EUR for the basic version seems to low for me.

I would have paid for both versions 4,99 EUR. But that's just me!

I agree that €12.99 simply for more radio stations is far, far too much. Stick with tune-in radio app which gives the alarm and sleep timer functions.

I find it quite amusing that people complain about the price of the full app, since it is one of the cheapest things B&O is ever going to sell...how much did you guys pay for your Iphone/Ipod/Ipad...? Stick out tongue

I won't even mention the new A8 earphones you bought to replace the crappy original earphones sold with the device..

Seriously, you can afford the app, can't you?

    Reunion Island is greeting you!

Very pleased with it, and will buy the fully featured version when it comes out. I'm using it on my iPad and my iPhone - no trouble installing it on the iPad, where it is read as a Phone-app, but I just press the 2x-button in the lower right hand corner to expand the screen to the iPad's size.

The alarm clock and sleep timer functions alone have made this a frequently used app here - and using AirPlay to send the music to my various B&O audiomasters, that are attached to airport express units, is very convenient. It plays in the background while I am doing other things on the iPad - very handy.

There are some free radio apps, that's why it appears expensive.

B&O have missed an occasion to push a free product on many iPhones around the world - Which would be (almost) free publicity for them.

Exactly - B&O apps that give a touch of B&O convenience would also work as free publicity.

And elegance. It is refreshing (besides the About button) to see no advertising in a clean, slick app.
