Until I can afford BL5's I'd be very happy with a beogram 8002. Ultimate class in turntables! But they are pretty hard to find in Holland. But I can understand, if I had one I wouldn't want to sell it either Smile

Right now, I am very happy of my B&O systems, but a Beomaster 4401/Beogram 4001 setup would compliment my 4400/4002 system very well Stick out tongue

I also regret that I sold that 6000 quad, it would be nice to have that in my "collection"

I would like the candle sticks crafted from the upright pole of a BeoVision 7 - 32" motor floor stand. There were a few pairs in the prize draw, but sadly I didn't win them...

Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

Re: How do I get one of these???

I feel quite fortunate with my B&O acquisitions, particularly after managing to come across a Beogram 3000 Thorens, and a 12" ST/P arm for it, and shouldn't be complaining.

But I am on the lookout for a complete Beomaster, Beogram, Beocord, Beovox 1200 set - in white. Which is pretty much like hoping you will come across a unicorn in the forest.

Beosystem 1200 was the first "set" offered by B&O, and Jensen did such a wonderful job that I know I will somehow have to manage to put this together, if only to ensure that a pristine set survives for the ages. A few years ago, an English friend of mine who lives in Stockholm sent me an e-mail wondering "Do you reckon this is something to go for?"

It was a link to a Swedish "Craig's List" site (blocket.se), and it was to someone selling a Beomaster 1200 and Beogram 1200, with Beovox 1200 - all in white.

I was tempted to tell my friend "No, I wouldn't go for that." And I'm a little proud that I called him immediately and said "Drop everything, get in your car, go there with what they're asking, and go home a happy man."

He's still very happy. The owners had tended the set with absolute devotion, there wasn't a scratch or blemish anywhere.

    Sigh ...
