tere is a strong Apple Mac following here that uses a fellow member's (Philippe) software called LINKPLAYER to achieve the control & integration; ripping is typically done using HANDBREAK

I no longer track WIndows so I can't answer for that environment, other than perhaps you look at how inexpensive an old Apple TV would be to acquire; the challenge with LINKPLAYER would be that in addition to a second-hand Apple MacMini or MacBook you would also ideally need to buy the BEOPORT black box
Some members are now investing in and recommending TVIX black boxes ... and some B&O stores have bought them to demonstrate that as a Media Centre approach

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
