    BeoMaster 1900 and BeoGram 2402 help

    my Beomaster 1900 is in need of a replacement balance slide as it is not functioning or a way to repair mine and I need to know how to adjust the arm on my BeoGram 2402 as it does not lift and hits the record,......thanks

    Hi. The Beogram problem is a common one - I have summarised an excellent thread and posted it in this FAQ.

    The Beomaster problem is also quite common and probably needs the mechanism cleaning. Taking these apart is tricky - or at least putting them back together is! How brave are you!!

    I am pretty brave Smile the slide was actually preventing it from working at all so I put a bare copper wire under the slide and it came on and played .I did spray a bit of deoxit in there but did not take it completely apart .

    I have owned several Bang & Olufsen stereo's but always sold them due to them needing too much work but this one is in nice condition other than the missing wood pieces which I will replace with some nice teak
