Gentlemen, I just bought a Beomaster 8000 without a remote. Are there any other remotes that can work with the 8000? Where can you find the codes if it is possible? Or would I use a Beo4 remote? Your knowledge would be appreciated.

The options are:

Beolab terminal - the original remote and the most sensible. Tricky to find by itself but not impossible.

Beolink 1000/Beo4 - unfortunately you need the rare IR converter kit - I did have one but no longer - It is actually not that good anyway!

Beo5 - you will need to get someone to program this for you who knows the 8000 codes.

Well, I think the only one can work for BM 8000 is beolab terminal, I've got both of Beo4, Beo5, some MCP as 5000, 6500 and 5500 but all of them could not use for BM 8000.

I've seeked the beolab terminal for a longtime, about 3 years ago. In last year, ~5th May, I found in ebay to sale, however, I could not bough it, because the seller did not agree to receive my money from Paypal. :(

you can also use the Beomaster Terminal that was fitting to the Beomaster 6000, though with reduced amount of functions
