I'm trying to set up an AV 7000 I purchased a few years back.  However, my beolink 1000 is different than the one pictured in the users guide and does not seem totally compatible with the AV 7000.  Is there a way to link the two or do I need another, more suitable remote?  Oh yeah, please do not tell me I purchased a faulty processor.

My AV7000 is in daily use and for me it is a good compromise to have a basic surround system.

Did you make sure you have  the AV7000 as video master ? (option2)
