My BV7 32'' type 9311, MKI will at once not turn on, red light is shining, DVD tray will not open, no movement at al, looks like on stand by but nothing happens wen switching on by Beo4 it stays this way.

What could be the cause? Can BV7 somehow be reset and perhaps this way my problem would be solved? Thanks for any suggestion in advance.

Make sure the PUC lead is not in any other place but C1 or C2

Try with nothing connected to the TV.

Does the standby LED blink when you option programme the TV.

If it`s on option 0 it won`t come on.Set for option 1 or 2 If it`s a master TV.

If the standby LED does not blink when option programmed then most likey the chassis and EEROM have failed.

Simplest way to reset is to remove the plug from the mains for about 2 min. and then reconnect..
