I came across on eBay this interesting-looking listing:

The seller claims it is a combo answering machine, but as far as I know the only B&O answering machine is the BeoTalk 1200. The buttons to the left of the handset resemble those on the optional base which provides remote control of A/V equipment volume.

What do you guys think?

Those look like the a/v buttons to me. Can you email him and ask him? Perhaps he is just throwing in a non B&O answering machine.

That is a BeoTalk 1401.  No scam.  Just make sure that you really want an answering machine.
