    Beosound 9000 & Beolab 8000 & powerlink cables

Hi i have a Beosound 9000,Beolab8000 speakers that i acquired from a bankruptcy auction got a very good deal. I need to know is the BS9000 a MK1,2,or 3 and also what year it may have been made . it also expirences very short pauses in the cd play mode or like it missed reading the cd for spit second or 2. I have read that something gets dirty from dusk on these if it is the clear plastic pieices on the outside corners under the lid? ive tried that although probably not as good as i should also i am not sure the position screws on the back are set correcty mine is in the verticle possition on the stand which his how i bought it and i dont have the tool to adjust this nor did i get any powerlink cables which brings me to my next question whats the right powerlink cables for these two MK1'2'or 3   Thanks Guys

sorry i for got the type no on the Bs 9000  is type 2561

Your BS9000 is a Mk2. I need the serial number to determine it's exact age. Serial number can be found under the keypad.

Any version of powerlink cables will suit the BS9000/BL8000 combination.

A flat bladed screwdriver will do for adjusting the sprung suspension. You do not need a special tool. The arrows on the screwhead should point vertical when the Beocenter is mounted.

The CD mechanism should be replaced to overcome the random pause problem.

Serial number beginning 13 indicates manufacture in 1998/9.

The CD mech is specific to B&O and you will only be able to order the kit from B&O dealers.

Before you go replace the CD mechanism, can you be more specific in what is the sequence of operations when you encounter the pause?  There is an inherent delay in accessing the CD from another CD position, and waiting for the CD to spin up.  Is this when selecting a new CD for play or between tracks of the current CD?

No . The delay happens in the middle of a song and some times i think it depends on which cd possition its in i belieive it happens mostly on the top cd and alot of the time the beosound has been playing for an hour or so when this happens need more ifo let me know
