    Beocenter 2600 Speaker Problem

    Hi,

I've recently resurrected a Beocenter 2600. It is working fine in most respects but there's a tendency for one of the speakers to cut in and out occasionally. Is there any obvious cause of this/place to start in working out what is causing it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom.

    Re: Beocenter 2600 Speaker Problem

    Hi Tom,

    - and welcome to Beoworld !

The Beocenter 2600 is not one we hear about everyday here but it's a nice one.
    - First, try swapping the speakers to confirm if the problem is indeed with
the Beocenter and not one of the speakers or a speaker plug/lead.
    - Next (if the problem is indeed with the Beocenter), move the speakers
from set 1 to set 2 (or vice versa) and try again.
    - Still a problem ? Try activating the row of push-buttons 10-20 times each. Even
the ones that has no obvious relation to what's playing at the moment.
    - Then the sound control sliders.
    Let's hear the results.

    Martin
