Hi all,
today I was in town browsing around and I went into a local shop, one of those that sells a bit of everything. I was having a look at some mobile phones displayed inside a glass cabinet and I saw a "Serene" mobile for £175. It was rather like the real one except with no name on it and it seemed quite new to me.
I'd have never imagined to see this but I guess there are copies around. The thing is that I thought these were more expensive.

Daniel:Maybe it was the Samsung version?
The Samsung version of the Serene sure is cheaper than the B&O version, but is it that cheap?

The Samsung version sold in Hong Kong is labeled "Samsung" and "B&O" and sells for about the same price. The last time I checked [several months ago] and IIRC, there might have been a HK$100 [~6.50 pounds sterling, ~9.50 euro] to HK$200 difference.
According to the manager of one of the local B&O shops, the major differences between the two versions are in the warranty period and the synch. with B&O phones.
