    Custom buttons on your Beo5

I was wondering what buttons you have created your Beo5 and what is the function of the button

I have made the following buttons:

Load Disk: it opens and closes the DVD on my BV7-40

Cinema Light: it adapts the lighting in the living room for movie night, turn down the lights ON and OFF for some other lamp posts.

Morning Light: the teeth just for the lights that I just need 5:45am in the morning.

    My Bang & Olufsen....

    • BeoCenter 2 DAB/DVD mk.II
    • BeoVision 7-40 DVD mk.III
    • BeoLab Penta mk.III
    • BeoLab 4000 icepower
    • BeoLab 4000
    • BeoLab 3500
    • Beo 5
    • Beo 4 mk.I & mk.III
    •
    • Beocom 6000
    •
    • A8 Earphones

I own a BeoCenter 1 and a lot of the TV channels on my cable are now in 16:9 format.

Unfortunately, the BC1 can't detect the WSS signal and switch to Format 2 automatically.

Thats why I have made a custom button with PictureFormat+digit2+exit.

I have also copied the button and used drag-n-drop to put it on the Stop key. Then each time I press the Channel up button to zap channels, the wide screen function is right beside if the channel turns out to be interesting.

    Then I got a button with Dad's seat, (Stand + 6)

I have several buttons.. . .Along the lines with what has been talked about here.

I made a "Cinema" Button that changes the stand position adjust the lights and goes to speaker5. .

I also made a couple of Chair buttons that are accessible from the main TV menus

    MJM

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

    Nothing too fancy, but......

POWER: switches on Pioneer plasma and BS3200 to A.AUX for TV sound.

    DOORS: Locks/Unlocks BS3200 doors (SHIFT+9+0+3+6+9)

Album names for CD MEM locations: e.g. ABBEY ROAD: 3+2 for Abbey Rd stored in position 32.
