I want to hear there are some who have XML to a Samsung BD-P3600. In Beo5 CT is only a Samsung BD-P1200 can be chosen.

Has Samsung BD-P1200 the same functions as I need to control the Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-ray?

As you say the PUC does not have the BD-3600 but it does have the BD-4600 and I can confirm that both units use the same protocol and carrier frequency and teh commands available in each can be seen in the screen shots below. The first shot is for the BD-1200

Are you 100% sure that the PUC BD-P4600 can control the BD-P3600!

For I will not order a Samsung BD-P3600 if the PUC in BeoVision 7-40 can't crontrol it.

I did not say that I am 100% sure that the PUC for the BD-P4600 can control the BD-P3600.

What I said and showed was that the earlier P1200 and the P3600 use the same protocol, carrier frequency and almost the same commands, so it is reasonable to assume the P3600 does as well. It is unlikely (but not impossible) that a manufacturer would change the remote and receiver in a earlier product to something different and then change it back again.

Generally speaking unless a later product has many different commands than an earlier version then they tend to use the same protocol etc as the earlier version
