OK. Im sure I can get a couple of wires to arc-up while playing music on my Alba ghetto-blaster.

To add extra refinement and be clever :- add a microphone linked to a potentiometer and vary the voltage potential +/-1 volt according to the volume.  Voi-la!

......and it is still 146 days to the 1st of April.

Nice Wiki reference...but do you seriously expect me to believe were going to get some up-tempo dance-electronica throbbing out of a high-voltage arc across a couple of wires (or an arc-gas stream)?

I'm sure it can screetch a high frequency tune or two but does playing the "Vengaboys" or whatever really strike you as a way of peeling back the latest in cutting edge sound theory and to be taken seriously?

    Dub-over.

Re: Sneak preview of the BL15

I really posted this thread as an interesting novelty but its seems it has been used in the past and is being re-investigated for use using more modern technology.

    (maybe B&W like the Vengaboys)

edit: I don't suppose this post made much sense without this link - http://blog.bowers-wilkins.com/theinsider/?p=105 LaughingLaughing

I didn't mean that this should get more attention in the serious sense, I was just puzzeled about how this didn't wow more than a handful of people.
