    Beogram 3400 TT tonearm won't lift and lower - Please Help!

    Hi,

    My B&O Beogram 3400 TT tonearm won't lift and lower but all other functions work properly.

    Does anyone have any wisdom, experience or suggestions to fix this problem?

    Hi DR, and a warm welcome to BeoWorldSmile
    I just had a look at the service manual and notice that the BG3400 is very similar to the BG1102 and 1902.
    The fault is common, and more than likely to be caused by dried out lubrication on a specific point.
    Read this thread, and you will find a photo of the offending part.
