    220V to 120V for Beolab 8000

I recently moved from Europe to the US. Is there a way to replace or modify the Beolab 8000 power supply (transformer?) from 220 volts to 120 volts?

    Hi,

I am using a step up transformer on my BL2500 since 8 or 9 years. Since the BL8000 draw much more power I would probably get this done by the dealer. If I recall correct it is actually quiet complicated to take the BL8000 apart, if they are old or your here just for a limited time a powerful step upmight be cheaper.

If you do go the transformer route, just note that there are regulated (for electronics) and unregulated (for hair dryers etc). Don't use unregulated. Amazon has some.

    Cheers
