    Another Compatibility Q - Beosound 1 AUX and a CMM10

    Ok,

    Trying to sort out my CmM 10 - 10 Disk B&O CD Changer.

    I've been trying to get it to work with a Beosound 1 using the AUX port. Not a lot seems to happen :-( the CMM states that it acts like the TAPE2.

    I've since connected it to a BC9000 on using the TAPE2 socket and it all seems to be fine. ;-)

    So, can the Beosound 1 AUX socket act as a TAPE2 socket?

    Yours befuddled.........

    I don't think the Beosound 1 has datalink and therefore it will not have the ability to control the cd changer.

    Correct, but the A.Aux of a BS9000 doesn't have datalink either

    It works using the TAPE2 socket on my BC9000.

    So it looks like it won't ever work on the BS1?
