    CD Racking advice / ideas

Currently have about 600 cds stored however i am considering a neat solution to have them not hidden away but on a racking arrangement.

Living room has  light north american cherrywood furniture with a number of polished metal ( not matt) and silver items. quite a few options but  if anyone has any good ideas or links that would probably match that short of design it would be grat if you post these links or ideas

PS : Not a neccesity to have them all stored in one go ! even a nice neat furniture piece for say 25-55 cds would probably suffice. style over fuctionality .

I love the original B&O racks, and I really don't understand why they never did anything to tell the world about them, instead of just shutting down the production.

I personally own the A3 Storage Ladder, a couple of A5/A6 CD Storage Rack and a couple of A1 CD Storage Cubes, you can see them here: http://www.beoworld.org/prod_list.asp

I've always loved the A2, but down own one.

Maybe you can find these second hand somewhere.

I use these A4 racks for temporary storing CDs and DVDs on the side, ie when I listen to/watch them. I have also a black one - the one pictured is brushed alu.

With CD racks I find it rather problematic: there are many of seemingly fine/interesting design and they do look great ... until you actually stack them with CDs, that is!

I currently prefer to keep them hidden in drawers of a minimalist design, easily accessible. However, I placed some 220 of my favourite CDs in rotating glass/metal rack with a very small footprint (9 rows on top of each other times two), so 18 covers on each side of the rack are displayed. The rack is within the reach of my BS9000.

Any of these A type racks would do for a few standing by , will see if lifestyle has any  of them or elsewhere and still loking for a decent storgae solution . i reckon will have something madde to store the majority away , dont want to haev on display that many cd or even worse dvds but i want easy access something that is currently a problem.

will put my thinking hat on and find a solution. anyone selling a  A type storage let me know !
