    BS4500 and beolink pc2

    Hello guys,

I have a BS4500 and two link rooms, one with BL3500 and the other with MCL2A, both with MCL cables.

May I connect my PC in another room trough e.g. 'a beolink pc 2' and an 'ML/MCL' or another converter to listen

    PC music in link rooms?

    Thanks,

    onyx

    Re: BS4500 and beolink pc2

Won`t work I`m afraid. BS4500 can not distribute N.MUSIC, N.RADIO. If you press N.RADIO  on your Beo4, it will activate the PHONO socket of your BM4500. You will need an audiomaster like BS4, BS3000, BS9000.

But if you just want to listen to your PC output, without any control, just connect it to a vacant BM4500 input and select this one in your link room.

    Re: BS4500 and beolink pc2

    hello and thanks Stefan,

this is really a bad notice for me...

Much more if I think that it shold be possible (trough the BS4500 aux/datalink port and a beolink converter),

just a software upgrade should do the job...

    bye
