I am not totally sure but quite that it can't. Only track number and radio station number AFAIK.

I'm fairly sure it can't. When you make any changes to your Beomaster, (Volume, track, station etc) it sends one quick IR flash to the remote. To show lapsed time, it would need to be constantly updating.

The Beolink 7000 can do this... It's pretty cool.
