    Beosystem 6000 for sale (1980s)

I don't really want to sell this but I have too much B&O and not enough space! This has been my everyday hifi for playing LPs on for a couple of years now and has been fantastic.

For sale is my Beosystem 6000 comprising of the following:

Beomaster 6000 + 2nd BM6000 for spares (works but turns itself off after 5 mins or so)

    Beogram 6006 c/w MMC20 EN

    Beocord 6000

    Beocord 8000

All the units are in the same finish which is teak. I don't have the terminal remote for it but the IR modue is fitted so the remote should work if you have one. Everything is in super physical condition, is fully working and sounds fantastic (as you would expect I guess!) I am happy to demonstrate this in my home to anyone interested. The only faults are as follows -

The Beocord 6000 is quieter on one channel (hence the addition of the Beocord 8000)

The Beomaster shuts itself down at volumes above 40. This is no problem for me as I find 30-35 my favourable listening volume. I'm sure this could be cured easily enough.

Open to offers really! Would consider a deal involving something B&O which takes up less space Smile

I  am based in Leicester/Birmingham UK and am happy to demonstrate to anyone interested. I'll get some pictures up soon!

Re: Beosystem 6000 for sale (1980s)

    Hi all

I withdraw my remarks re Llewelyn having now resolved our problem and had further B&O dealings - I would say go ahead with no fears!

I always try to operate using/following the KISS principle --  Keep it simple stupid!

    Cheers T

Not looking for the earth for this system - I just want it to go to a good home really!

(Not to mention I will have no room for it due to my recently acquired Beolab 8000 system! Smile )

Please call me on 07545 284993 or pm for more info. Happy to demonstrate in Leicester or Birmingham to anyone interested!

    Thanks

    Llewelyn
