    B&O and Sony

I have in one room with the following SONY equipment:

    SONY 40" Full HD1080p LCD TV KDL-40W5500
    SONY Blu-Ray BDP-S550

and of course, i'd like to use it with some B&O stuff so i was planning to add:

    4 x BL3 (2 front, 2 rear)

    1 x BL2 (subwoofer)

    1 x BL7-2 (center speaker)

but what would you suggest to control everything ? BeoSystem 3 ?

    Thanks in advance.

If you're not in love with that television, you should buy Beovision 7-40 without blu-ray. It holds the Beosystem 3 (only one dvi out) The 7-40 in my opinion looks better than the Sony, I would guess have better picture and make the system complete. The best part is that the TV is around 30% cheaper then Beosystem 3. If not, I think the only solution is to buy the Beosystem 3 if you want to control your system with beo4 or beo5.

Hi.  The BeoSystem 3 does give you possibilities for expansion and naturally compliments what you have.  I don't know how expensive the BeoSystem 3 is but I have a Krell HTS3 processor.  I picked one up on eBay for $1500 US and it listed for $8000 US when it was brand new  If such is the case, Din to RCA cables would be needed.  The remote is a Harmony 880.  If this setup is used, the TV has to be on if I want to play CDs.  (correct me if I'm wrong)  As such, I have a BS9000 for CDs.

Kudos on your selection of speakers!

BeoSound 9000, Beolab 8000, BeoLab 4000.   Beogram 4002/Grado Gold Amina conversion.

I believe the best way is the Beosystem 3. I have been extremely happy with the performance of mine!
