any news about the posts and all the stuff from the old site? will we ever get all that knowledge back or has it really been lost for ever?

I believe we have the old reference site but the forum is gone. As the reference site was largely used to make the new reference site, there seems little point in duplicating things. The loss of the forum is a huge shame but unfortunately there would seem to be nothing to be done.
