    Beocom 6000 keypad lock

    I have managed to lock the keyboard by simply pressing the centre button and it locks. 

    When I connect the headset the display says it is connected but there seems to be no way to lock the keypad as you talk. This must not be the case surely, as if you put the phone in your pocket as you wander the house talking, it gets bumped and you get cut off.

    Does anyone know the remedy?

    Its true, if you press the centre button of the dial twice on a BeoCom 6000 it will lock the keyboard

    Not after you dial - only before. If you press the centre twice after you dial you get 'Microphone off?/on?

    Is there a way to lock the keypad whilst talking on the phone and using the headset?

    That is also true. I am not aware of any way to lock the keyboard during a phone call.
