Wondering the value of the B&O item I own. Can any one help?

    Hi there,

I own the following B&O pieces

Beocenter 2200 (great condition, still have original box, no needle for record player)
    Beocenter 9000 (great condition)
    Beocord 3500 (great condition)
    2 Red line 45 speakers
    2 Red line 60 speakers

The speakers work but have some wear and tear to their appearance.  I uploaded a picutre of everything (hope it worked)

Does anyone have any idea about what each piece might be roughly worth, or the estimated value as a complete set.

    Thanks so much.

    Warmest regards,
    Petra

I can only comment on these from an English perspective but this will give you some idea.

    1. Beocenter 2200 - unfortunately the most valuable bit of these is the cartridge - which is missing. This is actually a Japanese device made for B&O with relatively little in the way of  B&O parts. Make sure the Tape deck works as the belts wear. At a car boot sale, these go for about £20 though you will get more on eBay. The lack of cartridge is a pain as this will reduce the price a lot.

    2. Beocenter 9000 - a lovely device but getting old - the CD unit is prone to failure and is not easy to get spares for - some specialist re-sellers have stopped stocking these because of that. £250 - 300 would seem a reasonable price and you could get more if in good condition and all working.

    3. Beocord 3500 - nobody seems to want cassette decks now - £50 would be a reasonable target.

    4. RL45s - not a great speaker but modern looking and can be wall mounted. Worth doing a bit of work on these to clean them up - good condition ones can breech the £100 mark.

    5. RL60 - if these are the original 60s rather than the 60.2, the Auxillary Bass Radiator will have foam rot and will rattle. Again worth repairing as these are quite sought after and can get £150 in the right condition.

If your RL speakers are tatty, then considerably less worth will be attached to them.

I would keep the 9000 and the speakers as modern systems will be unlikely to sound as good!
