    Manual and Membership

Before I go to the expense of purchasing Silver/Gold Membership, I would like to know:

I am looking for a service manual for a Beovision Avant 100Hz Type 83/20 (whether MkI or MkII is unknown) Item No 1832818.

The manual must contain the power supply schematic and pcb layout.

Is this specific manual available from the closed section and with Silver membership?

    Thanx

Welcome to Beoworld !  Yes - thumbs up

I'm no B&O TV models expert but I can see that we have the servicemanuals for
    type 834x (28 inch DVD)
    type 844x (32 inch DVD)
    type 833X/843X/837X (28 inch VCR)

available for silver members. I'm sure someone here will be able to tell you if one of these will be useful.

We Have all you will be able to get - there is a bock diagram and wiring diagram but modern manuals no l;onger have the old PCB layout diagrams. The first Avant manual does but the later one do not. It does list components and does have the wiring diagram for the power supply though. You would need to know what you were doing obviously!

    Re: Manual and Membership

Thanx Peter, I have a service manual that was also supposed to contain these details, but it only has the component list and a BLOCK diagram of the supply.

This supply I am busy repairing had some components completely blown off/away, so a COMPLETE CIRCUIT DIAGRAM is a neccessity.

Could you confirm the above facts for me, please.

    Thanx again.

I do not think that the manuals on site will be enough for you. I do have a hard copy of the manual for the 32" Avant Type 8400 - 8408 which has the PCB diagrams in it. I cannot say if the power supply is the same as yours but I would not be surprised if they were not very similar. I could send this to you but will obviously want it back! I could scan the relevant pages otherwise - which PCB are you repairing?

    Re: Manual and Membership

Thanx Peter, I think obviously scans are required and reccommended!

I am repairing PCB4 (Main Power Supply), and if the main switching FET is not marked as TR70, then the circuit will be no good.

Will you have a look and let me know?

    Thanx
