Link question regarding an Avant vs BV7/BV10

I still have an Avant which I love in the living room. The problem with the Avant is that it can only distribute one source to the link rooms. This means that I cannot watch TV in the kitchen if the kids are watching DVD in the bedroom.

Is this different with a BV7? And do anyone have an idea of the capabilities of the BV10?

    No one?

Is it still a limit that you only can watch or listen to one source in link rooms? In other words you can´t listen to a CD in the kitchen and watch DVD in the bedroom if the master is in the living room?

No, you can't, not even with a BV10 or any other Beovision!

This is possible if you have an audiomaster too. CD (sound) will be distributed via masterlink by the audiomaster, DVD (sound (mono) and picture) by the videomaster via RF-modulator (aerial cable).

    Thank you!

I learned a lesson now. Try it out before you ask questions. I can in fact listen to radio or cd in the kitchen, while the TV or DVD is on in the bedroom, or vice versa.

I have had my system now for a few years, and just now discovered the possibilities!

The only limit is the TV/DVD, but I can live with that.

    Thank you!
