Hi
Could anyone help me with this problem. We have our avant 32's (old versions) connected to Topfield TF5000PVRt set top boxes. When the timer kicks in to record the TV turns on and doesn't go back off. Any idea how we can stop this apart from turning off at mains?
Helen
Hi Helen,
I guess that you can control the set top box with the B&O remote?
If not you can cut cable no 8 in the scart cable and this should help you out

Where did you make the timer? Is it a VCR type?
I assume you did that in the toppie?
If you did it in the avant, that's causes a locked avant.
Thanks for your reply. This make of set top cannot be used through our Beo 4 remote. B&O have gave us the latest updates but this model not there. We can turn TV on from the settop box remote but will not turn off. We use the same type of set top box on our Beo vision 4(first model) and it doesn't turn the TV on but it does leave set box on after recording. H
Just cut number 8 scat tonight and it has solved problem. Many thanks for your help. H
