    Does anyone know if the BV8-40 will be available in the USA?

    I have been told "No" by my local dealer as well as a dealer (trip) on this site.

    If I recall correctly, there will be a 40-in BV10 that is to be positioned between the bv8 and Bv7.

    Do not endure the wait. The existing BV7 with the new modular pricing options is a very good alternative for BV8 40 or whatever BV10 will bring.

    I would take a very close look at that. If you wait for the BV7 to receive the blueray update, which it probably has by the time the BV10 hits our shores, these deals are probably gone.
