    does the BS 5 need a Beomaster 5, or will it also work with a computer, just as terminal ?

    See it as a screen and a mouse (the wheel) : Beomaster 5 is mandatory.

    Nope! it requires a BeoMaster 5 to function. Although a BeoMaster 5 will work with a Bang & Olufsen television without the BeoSound 5
