I may be from another planet too then, I think I have a few 9800 battery packs. Still have the desk charger as I saw it just the other day.

    Re: Beocom9500 & Beocom 9800

I have a Beocom 9600. It's basically some Ericsson phone (can't remember the model just now) to what B&O modified the sound circuitry. Batteries for the Ericsson model are still available and they will fit the Beocom nicely (if the old battery was the smallest one in capacity the new one will be thicker but it will last longer, too).

I bought it some year or two ago and used it until I switced back to my Nokia 3510i and later bought a B&O Serene. Yes - thumbs up The BC9600 worked nicely, I remember it had very good sound and I liked the green/red led on the top; no need to take the phone out of pocket to check if someone has called. Problem was the extremely slow SMS writing... and the fact that longer SMS's I received arrived in several messages with random letters between.

I also tried to search for the desktop charger but couldn't get one.
