    Avatar Help

I can't seem to get my avatar changed. I uploaded a new one yesterday and it changed briefly, but then reverted back to my old one. Just tried again but with no luck. Anyone able to help??

    Thanks Eugene

Mine still isn't there - not sure yours has changed either. Time for a coffee, perhaps :)

    Re: Avatar Help

On the old forum there was a limit of 100 kb of size for avatars. Maybe it's still the same.

    It was a 75 x 75 square picture - pretty small really.

    Van?

When I upgraded the site I changed the maximum size of Avater's to 100 x 100

The change is not always instant because it runs a background task normally every 15 minutes to update these things, but can take longer if the server is loaded.

    Thanks Keith

Nearly an hour though now and no joy. Picture is definitely 75 x 75. Does it make any difference if I use a URL link to a site such as Flickr, or am I better off uploading straight from my machine?

It did indeed! Perhaps a picture of Resisty's partner in crime Captain Capacitor would be more appropriate, given most of my older B&O gear has needed new caps at one point or another!
