    UK apple webshop

Hi, can anyone recommend a UK based webshop that sells Apple equipment and are willing to ship to Denmark??

Unfortunately Amazon.co.uk adds danish tax and is not willing to ship electronics, (other than game machines), to Denmark.

    Kind Regards

    Toubro

Have you tried the Apple store, they have recently changed their shipping rules...

Yeah I have, but Apple only wants you to order from your national Apple store, unfortunately.

I check just now, and they ship to the Euro zone, but not Danmark.

Why do you want to order from the UK?

    Re: UK apple webshop

Because of the currency difference. The english Pound is very low at the moment compared to the danish Krone, which makes the products cheaper to buy in the UK. Apple is very good at keeping the prices at the same level in all countries, so it is normally not possible, but it has been cheaper in USA and UK for the past couple of months because of the currency difference.

    Thank you for your help.

As you realise, keyboards and plugs will be different.

The transporter may also ask you to pay the VAT and will charge for doing this.

You should ask the webshop which company they use for shipping and then ask the company how much they'll charge you.

And hope that those silly transporters are not using your laptop as a rugby ball.

    Re: UK apple webshop

I was only going for an Airport Extreme and maybe an iPod Touch to use as a remote, so no laptop rugby for me :o)

I just found out that my sister is going to London next month, so I think I'll let her be the transporter.

Again, thanks for your help and thoughts.
