    Beomaster 1900 assistance required!

I have had a beomaster 1900 for quite a while now, and am just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to run a regular cd player, or even a mp3 player through it...

I know that tape and phono inputs have 5 pin din sockets, so would it just be as easy as buying the correct lead and plugging everything in?

    Any help appreciated!

You can certainly run a CD or MP3 player through the Tape socket. It accepts Line in level so the CD player will be easy. If using an iPod, use a Dock connection for best results.

If you can - please help me with this.  I recently bought a Beomaster 1900 at a yard sale, and it works and sounds great with the radio.  However, the previous owner jerry rigged the cables.  The ends of the speaker cables plug have wires jammed into them to hook up to normal speakers.  It works, but I know this is not the best way.  I was wandering if there is any way of just stripping the ends, and plugging directly into speakers.  Also, when I hook up my turntable, it only plays out of one channel.  Any idea why?  Maybe the 5 pin cable is bad.  Everything else works through both channels.  Please forward this to the correct person if I am under the wrong blog.  Thank you.

Are you trying to connect to normal speakers or B&O ones with the two pin DIN sockets?

Either way you shopul be able to buy the connectors you need online from Maplin.
