    Transformer Beogram

Could someone please advise me? I have a Beogram 1700 with a blown transformer. Living in Australia, our mains supply is 240v/50hz. After months of searching I have found a transformer (240v/50hz) for a Beogram 1800, on ebay. Will this transformer be compatiblewith my Beogram 1700. If not how can I get hold of one? Any advice and/or direction would be appreciated.

    Re: Transformer Beogram

Hi Bahumbug - sorry if this is a bit of a late reply but after digging around I have found a transformer from a Beogram1800 which may just do the job. It is 240v 50hz with 12V output. I have checked the service manual on site for the Beogram 1700 but it isn't there although there is one for the 2200 & derivatives and these appear to use the same spec' tarnsformer.

If anyone knows any different then fair enough - I am only going by what is in the service manuals. You are welcome to it for the price of poatage to Oz. Gotta be better than risking £25 plus P&P on ebaySmile

    Chris.
