    First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Managed to miss everthing last night. But, no matter. Elephant, as suggested in another thread, has evidently taken up the Thursthred challenge. With further clues every 24 hours maybe this will become a week-long thread!

    Clues ... let me think :)

    When I first saw it, I thought it was strangely perhaps Welsh,

    but it was actually in this Somerset pub => Plume of Feathers and once explained was obvious even to me [:D}

    So as a clue, there was a plastic replica, on the counter nearby, of a Royal National Lifeboat

    PS: should we disallow ringing of the publican for clarification ?

    I suspect Andy is on the right track, but can't see a lifeboat connection. 'Young Farmers' have collected for the lifeboats at this pub.

    We may need another clue!
